RÜÜT
Role: ARTIST MANAGEMENT
Estonian ensemble RÜÜT represents new and diverse folk music by offering a fresh take on the search for its essence. Their thorough and precise arrangements are based on old runo songs and instrumental tunes. RÜÜT dares to experiment, break boundaries, search for new sounds and clever solutions and wishes to explore untouched parts of themselves and in their music. Although their music is based on Estonian traditional music, they would not like to limit themselves with a specific genre but keep all doors open instead. Due to that every piece has its own character taking the listener to a journey on different soundscapes.
RÜÜT has played at many of the festivals in Estonia and in 2015 released a debut album called "Maasikille" (Strawberries) which was also nominated as album of the year at Etnokulbid awards. In 2017 the ensemble released the second studio album “Kadakad” (Junipers) which is strongly inspired by the nature and will bring the listener to a new world of sound with each song. RÜÜT received nominations for best song, best album and best ensemble at Etnokulbid awards in 2017. They released third studio album "Kiriküüt" in 2023 which received a nomination at the Estonian Music Awards and 4 nominations at Etnokulbid awards. In 2023 they also released an EP and vinyl with producer Sander Mölder named "Lendas meie kopelisse".
